Gently scrape off any solid bits of gravy or food that may have stuck to the fabric. Be sure not to use anything too sharp, as this could damage the fabric of the tank top.
Using cold water, pre-treat the stain by blotting the spot, being careful not to spread the stain further into the fabric. Rinse the spot with cold water and repeat until water runs clear.
Choose an appropriate stain remover for the fabric type—look on the manufacturer's instructions for guidance. Dilute product with water and apply it directly to the stain. Allow to sit for several minutes before rinsing.
Once you have removed the stain, it's time to wash tank top. Place in the washer with a gentle detergent and lukewarm water setting, then hang to air dry.
If you still can't get stain out of fabric, try using heat. Use an iron on low heat and press the fabric to help draw out more of the stain.
