  1. Blot stain with a paper towel or a clean cloth. This will soak up most of the extra gravy.
  2. Mix a solution of warm water and mild laundry detergent.
  3. Gently rub the stained area of the sweater with the soap solution.
  4. Rinse off the soap with cold water, using a clean cloth.
  5. Check the sweater for any stains that remain. If so, repeat steps 3-5.
  6. Lay the sweater flat on a clean absorbent towel and allow it to air dry.
  7. When the sweater is completely dry, inspect the stain to check that it's been removed.

You may have to repeat the cleaning process a few times, but these steps should help eliminate gravy stains from your sweaters. Good luck!
