- Blot stain with a paper towel or a clean cloth. This will soak up most of the extra gravy.
- Mix a solution of warm water and mild laundry detergent.
- Gently rub the stained area of the sweater with the soap solution.
- Rinse off the soap with cold water, using a clean cloth.
- Check the sweater for any stains that remain. If so, repeat steps 3-5.
- Lay the sweater flat on a clean absorbent towel and allow it to air dry.
- When the sweater is completely dry, inspect the stain to check that it's been removed.
