What You Need
- Cold water
- Laundry detergent
- Rubbing alcohol (optional)
- Clean cloth
Instructions
- As soon as you notice the gravy stain, use cold water to rinse the affected area. Never use hot water as this can set stain.
- Put a tiny bit of laundry detergent onto the stain and gently rub it in with a clean cloth.
- Pour cold water on the stained area again, then gently dab away excess water with a dry cloth.
- If stain persists, try adding a drop of rubbing alcohol to the stained area. Rub it in with the cloth and then rinse it with cold water. Again, dab away the excess water with a dry cloth.
- Let the sweater air dry completely.
