3 Simple Steps to Get Rid of Gravy Stains on Shoes

Having gravy stains on your shoes can be quite the eyesore. Fortunately, with a few simple steps, you can get rid of these pesky stains and make your shoes look as good as new.

Step One: Clean Off the Excess Stain

Using a clean cloth or paper towel, blot area to remove any visible excess residue. Take care not to rub stain, which may make it harder to remove.

Step Two: Dab at the Stain with a Cleaning Solution

Mix a solution of one part vinegar and two parts water and apply it to the stain with a clean cloth or sponge. Gently dab the area and allow to sit for five minutes. Re-apply the solution if necessary, until the stain is no longer visible.

Step Three: Rinse and Dry the Area

Rinse the area with cool water and use a clean cloth to gently dab the shoe dry. Place your shoes in an area that gets adequate ventilation to further dry the area. Repeat these steps as needed to get rid of the gravy stain completely.
