Method 1: Liquid Dish Soap and Water

One of best ways to get rid of gravy stains on your scarf is by using liquid dish soap and water. Start by pouring some dish soap onto the stained area and add a few drops of warm (not hot!) water. Work soap into the fabric using your fingers or a soft bristled brush. Once you’ve scrubbed the stain for a few minutes, rinse it with cold water and air dry.

Method 2: White Vinegar and Water

If dish soap and water still haven’t done the trick, try using white vinegar and water. Mix equal parts vinegar and water together, and apply it to the stained area using a clean cloth or sponge. Rub the mixture into the fabric and let it sit for a few minutes. Finally, rinse the area with cold water and air dry.

Method 3: Baking Soda and Water

You can also make a paste with baking soda and water to remove gravy stains from your scarf. Mix together a few spoonfuls of baking soda and enough water to make a thick paste. Apply it to the stain and let it sit for 10-15 minutes before rinsing with cool water and air drying.

Method 4: Rubbing Alcohol and Water

To tackle particularly stubborn gravy stains, mix equal parts rubbing alcohol and water. Apply the solution to the stain using a cloth or sponge and work it into the fabric. Let it sit for a few minutes, then rinse with cold water and air dry.

No matter which method you choose, make sure to test the cleaning solution on an inconspicuous area of the scarf first to make sure it doesn’t cause any discoloration.
