Start by blotting up as much of the gravy as possible with a soft cloth to prevent the stain from spreading. Do not rub the cloth against stain as this will only push the stain further into the fabric.
Mix one tablespoon of white vinegar and one teaspoon of mild detergent in a spray bottle filled with lukewarm water. Shake the bottle until the ingredients are fully incorporated.
Spray the solution onto the stained area and let it sit for 10-15 minutes before wiping the area clean with a damp cloth.
If the stain persists, use a toothbrush to gently scrub the stained area in a circular motion. Rinse the area with lukewarm water and repeat as necessary.
If the stain is still visible, apply a commercial stain remover to the area and let it sit for 15 minutes before rinsing. Repeat if necessary.
Once the stain has been removed, hang pumps up in a ventilated area and allow them to air dry.
Cleaning gravy stains off your pumps doesn't have to be a challenge. All you need are the right cleaning products and some elbow grease! Just follow the steps above and you should be able to remove the stain in no time.
