Step 1: Blot the Stain as Quickly as Possible

The first step in removing a gravy stain from your Prada garment is to blot the stain as soon as possible. Get a rag or paper towel and press it lightly against the stained area to absorb the liquid. Don’t rub the stain – it will only make it worse. Continue blotting until there’s no more liquid left.

Step 2: Use Damp Newspaper to Absorb Grease

After you’ve blotted up the excess gravy, you’ll need to address oily residue that’s left behind. To do this, grab a few sheets of damp newspaper and place them over the sticky area. Let newspaper sit for a few minutes, then remove it. This should absorb most of grease.

Step 3: Pre-treat the Stain with Detergent

If you’re still having trouble getting the gravy stain out, pre-treat area with a little liquid laundry detergent. Work it into the fabric with your fingers and let it sit for a few minutes. This should break down the greasy residue and make it easier to remove.

Step 4: Wash and Dry Fabric

Once you’ve pre-treated the stain, it’s time to throw it in the washing machine. Be sure to use the warm or cold water setting depending on the type of fabric your Prada garment is made of. Then dry the fabric according to the care label instructions. If the stain still won’t come out after washing and drying, repeat Steps 1-3.
