The first step to cleaning gravy stains is to blot the affected area with a clean cloth or paper towel. Blotting will help to absorb excess grease and moisture from the fabric.
Next, use lukewarm water and a clean cloth or sponge to rinse away any remaining bits of gravy. Use gentle circular motions to avoid spreading the stain.
To remove the remaining stain, try mixing a tablespoon of laundry detergent with a cup of white vinegar and apply to affected area. Let sit for 5 minutes before blotting with a damp cloth.
If the stain is still visible, try using a combination of baking soda, enzyme-based cleaner, and ink remover. Using an old toothbrush or scrub brush, lightly scrub the mixture into the affected area. Let sit for 10 minutes, then rinse with lukewarm water.
Finally, use a clean cloth to blot away any remaining moisture from the fabric and let the bed dry completely. Once dry, your pet bed should be as good as new!
