Before getting started with cleaning, it is important to make sure that all surfaces are thoroughly scrubbed and wet with warm water. This will ensure that any loose dirt or debris does not get mixed in with the cleaner and become more difficult to remove.
Now that the surface is prepped, it's time to tackle the gravy stain. One of the most effective ways to do this is by using a poultice made of white vinegar and baking soda. Mix together equal parts of both these ingredients in a bowl to form a paste, and then spread a thick layer of it on top of the stained area. Let it sit for 24-48 hours and then rinse away with warm water.
If the stain is particularly stubborn, you may wish to use a pressure washer for the job. Make sure to keep the nozzle at least 12 inches away from the surface to avoid damaging the pavers or concrete. You can also use a scrubbing brush to help loosen any stubborn chunks.
Once stain has been removed, it is important to take steps to protect your pavers and concrete from future staining. A sealant or concrete coating can go a long way towards helping to repel future grease and oil spills.
Gravy stains on pavers and concrete don't have to be a headache to remove. By following the steps outlined above, you can easily and effectively get rid of even the most stubborn spots.
