Start by blotting stained area with a paper towel or a washcloth to absorb as much of gravy stain as you can. Do not rub excessively, as that will spread the stain and make it worse.
Using a pretreatment spray, spot-treat the stain to break down grease. Allow the pretreatment to sit on the affected area for up to 10 minutes before washing.
Secure garment in a mesh laundry bag or separate the individual pieces from each other. Machine wash using a delicate cycle and cold water. Add a small amount of detergent designed for delicates.
Once the clothing is finished drying, inspect the stain to see if it has been removed. If the stain remains, repeat process of pretreating and washing.
After the stain has been successfully lifted, rinse the garment in cold water before machine drying on low. Be sure to avoid overdrying fabric, as it can break down the fibers.
