What You'll Need
- Laundry Detergent
- White Vinegar
- Oxygen Bleach
- Toothbrush
- Fine-toothed Comb
Step by Step Instructions
- Mix a solution of laundry detergent and warm water in a small bucket, then submerge the fabric in it.
- Let fabric soak for about half an hour.
- Take the fabric out of the solution, gently squeeze out excess moisture and place it on a flat surface.
- Using a toothbrush, gently scrub the stain with a mixture of white vinegar and water.
- Rinse out the fabric with warm water and let it air dry.
- Once fabric has dried, use a fine-toothed comb to break up any remaining clumps of gravy.
- Apply oxygen bleach to stain, let it sit for about 10 minutes, then rinse it out with water.
Additional Tips
- For best results, do not machine wash or dry clean the fabric after treating stain.
- It's important to use a gentle scrubbing motion when scrubbing the stain so that you don't damage the fabric.
- While it may be tempting to use hot water to treat the stain, avoid doing so as it can cause the fabric to shrink or become discolored.
