Materials Needed

  • Mild laundry detergent
  • Soft-bristled brush
  • White vinegar
  • Sponge
  • A clean cloth

Instructions

  1. Apply a mild detergent to the stained area of the mesh using a soft-bristled brush. Work the detergent in by lightly scrubbing the stain.
  2. Wait five minutes for the detergent to work its magic, then rinse the mesh with cold water.
  3. If the stain remains, make a solution of one part white vinegar and three parts water and apply it to the stained area. Let the solution sit for five minutes.
  4. Using a sponge, gently rub the stain with the vinegar solution. Rinse the mesh again with cold water.
  5. If the stain persists, repeat steps 1-3 until it has been fully removed.
  6. Finally, dry the mesh with a clean cloth.
