Steps to Remove a Gravy Stain

In order to get rid of a gravy stain from your Marc Jacobs garments, you will need the following items:

  • Baking Soda
  • White Vinegar
  • Cold Water
  • Paper Towels
  • Laundry Detergent

Instructions

  1. Start by getting as much of the dried-on gravy off as possible. Use a spoon or butter knife to scrape the stain in one direction. Make sure to never scrub back and forth, as this can grind the stain into the fabric.
  2. After you have scraped off all the dried-on gravy, sprinkle some baking soda on the area. This should help absorb any excess liquid and soil that may have been left behind.
  3. Mix equal parts cold water and white vinegar and pour it over the stained area. Blot it with paper towels until the stain begins to lift.
  4. Once the gravy stain is gone, it’s time to launder the garment. Wash according to the fabric care instructions and use laundry detergent to help break down stain.
  5. Allow garment to air dry. Do not put it in the dryer as the heat can set stain.

Following these steps should help remove a gravy stain from your Marc Jacobs fabrics. However, if stain is still visible after laundering, repeat the steps until it is completely gone.
