How To Remove The Stain:

  1. Using a paper towel or soft cloth, blot as much of the gravy as possible from the shoe.
  2. Create a mixture with liquid dish soap and clean water. Gently dip an old toothbrush into the soapy mixture and rub it onto the stained area.
  3. Continue to scrub lightly until the stain is mostly removed.
  4. Rinse the keds off with warm water to remove any remaining residue.
  5. Blot the shoes with a dry cloth or paper towel to remove excess moisture.
  6. Allow shoes to air dry completely before wearing again.

Preventative Measures:

  • To reduce likelihood of future spills, keep a small towel handy to clean up any messes quickly.
  • Avoid wearing Keds when eating food that may cause stains.
