Remove Gravy Stains from Jeans with Ease

Accidentally spilling gravy on your favorite jeans is an unfortunate event. Fortunately, it doesn't have to be a total disaster. With the right methods and products, you can remove stain and have your denim looking like new!

What You'll Need:

  • Dish soap
  • Enzyme laundry detergent
  • Soft-bristled brush
  • Stain remover spray or paste
  • White cloth

Instructions:

  1. Scrape off any excess gravy.
  2. Mix a few drops of dish soap with warm water in a bowl. Soak a white cloth in the mixture and then lightly dab it on stain.
  3. Use a soft bristled brush to scrub the spot gently.
  4. Rinse off the soap with cold water.
  5. Apply an enzyme-based laundry detergent directly onto the stain and let it sit for 15 minutes.
  6. Rinse off the detergent with cold water and inspect the stain.
  7. If the stain remains, use a stain remover spray or paste and let it sit for 5 minutes.
  8. Rinse off remover with cold water. Repeat this step if needed.
  9. Launder your jeans as normal.

Precautions:

  • Be sure to rinse off your jeans thoroughly after each step to avoid further staining.
  • If stain is still visible after laundering, repeat steps 4 through 8 until the stain is gone.
  • Be sure to read the labels on all products before using them.
