Step 1: Soaking Grill Grease and Gravy Stain

The first step in removing grill grease and gravy stains is to soak the grill surface with warm, soapy water. Fill a bucket with warm water and two cups of mild dish detergent. Submerge stained area of the grill into the soapy water and let it soak for 15 minutes.

Step 2: Scrubbing the Grease and Gravy Stain

After the stain has been soaked, use a scrub brush to scrub the stained area. Use gentle circular motions and rinse the brush frequently to avoid pushing the stain deeper into the grill surface. Once the stain has been loosened, rinse the surface with clean water.

Step 3: Cleaning the Grease and Gravy Stain With Vinegar

If the stain still remains, make a mixture of one part white vinegar and four parts water. Dip a cloth in the mixture and dab on the affected area. For stubborn stains, use a steel wool pad instead of a cloth. Let the vinegar mixture sit on stain until it is loosened. Then rinse the area with clean water and dry with a soft cloth.
