Gazars are a lightweight and lustrous fabric which have become increasingly popular in recent years. Despite their light, airy appearance, they can be tricky to clean - particularly when you're dealing with stubborn gravy stains.

Removing gravy stains from gazar fabric isn't as complicated as you might think - and you don't need to use harsh chemicals either. Follow our three-step guide and you'll be able to get your gazar fabric looking good as new in no time.

Step 1: Blot the Stain

To start off, take a clean cloth and blot stain with cold water. You want to absorb as much of the liquid as possible without applying too much pressure or scrubbing the fabric. This will ensure that the stain doesn't spread further.

Step 2: Pre-treat the Stain

Once the excess liquid has been blotted away, it's time to pre-treat the stain. You can do this by applying a small amount of laundry detergent directly onto stain. Make sure to use a detergent designed for delicate fabrics. Leave the detergent on the stain for around fifteen minutes.

Step 3: Wash the Fabric

When the fifteen minutes are up, put fabric in the washing machine on a gentle cycle. Check that the temperature setting is suitable for delicate fabrics. After the cycle has finished, check to see if stain has been completely removed. If not, simply repeat the process until the stain is gone.

Conclusion

Gravy stains can be a real pain to remove, but with our three-step guide you can easily get them out of your gazar fabric. Remember - always use a detergent designed for delicate fabrics, and opt for a gentle cycle when washing the stained garment.
