Gravy stains can be a pain to remove, especially if they have already dried onto the crepe. Fortunately, there are a few simple steps that you can take to get that stain removed with ease. Here’s what you need to do:

  • Using a soft brush, gently remove any excess gravy and debris from the crepe. Be careful not to scrub too hard, as this could damage the delicate fabric of the crepe.
  • For fresh stains, dampen a cloth or paper towel with cold water. Gently blot the stain with damp cloth until the gravy is removed.
  • For dried gravy stains, soak the crepe in warm water for a few minutes before blotting it with a damp cloth.
  • Mix together a solution of 4 parts water and 1 part vinegar. Test the solution in an inconspicuous spot of the crepe fabric to make sure it does not stain or discolour. Once you have confirmed that solution is safe to use, saturate the stained area with the mixture, and then use a clean cloth to blot up the vinegar solution.
  • Once stain is gone, rinse the area with clean water and let it air dry.

With these simple steps, you can quickly and easily rid your crepes of gravy stains. Now you can enjoy your favourite meal without worrying about messing up your clothes!
