Steps for Cleaning Gravy Stains from Cotton Voile

  2. Mix together 1 tbsp of liquid detergent and 2 cups of warm water.
  3. Take a clean, white cloth and soak it in the detergent solution. Gently dab the stained area until the stain begins to lift.
  4. If the stain has not disappeared, mix 1 tsp of white vinegar into 1 cup of warm water. Take a clean, white cloth and soak it in the vinegar solution. Again, use this cloth to gently dab the stained area until the stain lifts.
  5. Finally, rinse the stained area with clean water and allow the fabric to air dry.
