  • Act fast! The sooner you treat stain, the better your chance of success.
  • Start by blotting stain with a clean cloth or paper towel to remove as much gravy as possible.
  • If the stain persists, make a solution of equal parts dish soap and water. Soak the stained area of the fabric for 30 minutes in this solution.
  • Rinse the fabric thoroughly with cool water.
  • If the stain still lingers, apply a gentle white vinegar solution and let sit for 15 minutes before rinsing again.
  • For stubborn stains, mix a tablespoon of baking soda with two tablespoons of warm water until you have a paste. Spread the paste onto the stained area and rub it gently into the fabric with a soft bristled brush or sponge. Rinse again.
  • Finally, repeat the above steps if necessary and launder the fabric in the washing machine following the fabric type's instructions.
