What You'll Need:

  • A clean white rag
  • Mild liquid detergent such as Woolite
  • Warm water

Instructions:

  1. Blot up any excess gravy with a clean white rag.
  2. Mix 1 teaspoon of mild liquid detergent with 1 cup of warm water.
  3. Using a clean white rag, blot the gravy stain with the detergent solution.
  4. Continue blotting until the stain begins to lighten.
  5. Rinse the area with warm water.
  6. Allow fabric to air dry.
  7. If necessary, repeat earlier steps until the stain is gone.

Additional Tips:

  • Treat stain ASAP for best results.
  • Don't rub the stain; the friction will only spread it around.
  • Be sure to use a mild detergent and warm water; hot water can set the stain.
