You'll want to act quickly if you've got a gravy stain on your bottoms. Begin by blotting the stain with a clean, dry cloth. Take care not to rub the fabric as you could spread stain further.
Once you've blotted the stain, you'll want to pre-treat it before washing. You can use a laundry pre-treatment spray, or if you prefer, make your own solution by combining one part white vinegar and two parts water. Apply the solution to stain and allow it to sit for 10 minutes.
After pre-treating the stain, you can pop your bottoms in the washing machine. Choose hottest setting possible and add a mild detergent. To ensure that the stain is completely removed, you may want to wash twice.
Once your bottoms have gone through the wash cycle, rinse them in cold water. This will help to prevent the stain from setting into fabric. If there is still an obvious mark, repeat steps 1-3 until the stain is gone.
