Step 1: Blot Excess Gravy With a Paper Towel

Once stain is still wet, use a paper towel to blot away any excess gravy. This will prevent the gravy from drying and getting ground further into fabric.

Step 2: Make a Cleaning Solution

Mix one tablespoon of liquid dishwashing detergent and two cups of cool water together in a bowl or container. Stir the mixture together until the detergent is completely dissolved.

Step 3: Soak the Bandana in the Solution

Immerse the stained area of the bandana in the cleaning solution for about 10 minutes. Gently work the solution through the fabric to make sure it gets deep into the fibers and removes the gravy stain. Rinse the bandana in cold water, and then hang it up to dry.

Once your bandana is dry, you should find that all traces of the gravy stain have vanished. And you'll be able to wear your bandana with pride again!
