For light grass stains on your yoga pants, a paste of baking soda and water may be the answer. Start by using a spoon to mix two tablespoons of baking soda and two tablespoons of water in a bowl. Then, apply the paste directly to the grass stains and use a cloth to rub it in. Let it sit for 15 minutes, then rinse off the paste with cool water. If the stain remains after rinsing, you can repeat the process.
For more stubborn stains, a vinegar solution may do the trick. Mix one tablespoon of white vinegar with two cups of cool water in a bowl. Use a sponge or cloth to apply the mixture to grass stains and allow it to sit for about 10 minutes. Afterwards, rinse the vinegar solution off with cool water. If the stain is still there, you can repeat the process.
For difficult-to-remove grass stains, try this solution. Mix one part rubbing alcohol and one part white vinegar in a bowl. Apply mixture directly to grass stains and let it sit for 10 minutes. Afterwards, rinse off the solution with cool water. If the stain persists, repeat the process.
One of the best ways to avoid grass stains on your yoga pants is to wear shoes while practicing outdoors. Shoes will protect the material of your yoga pants and will keep them from coming into contact with the grass. You can also spray your yoga pants with a water-repellent formula before heading outside. This will make your fabric less susceptible to staining.
