What You Need

  • Liquid detergent
  • White vinegar
  • Non-chlorine bleach
  • Laundry brush
  • Clean cloths
  • Hairdryer

Step 1: Pre-treat the Stain

Soak a clean cloth with liquid detergent and gently rub it on the stained area to loosen the grass stains. Rinse the fabric thoroughly with cold water.

Step 2: Soak in Vinegar Solution

Fill a container with 1 liter of warm water and 1/3 cup of white vinegar. Stir the mixture until vinegar is completely dissolved. Submerge stained fabric in solution and let it sit for 3 hours. Rinse the fabric and check for results.

Step 3: Bleach Fabric

If stains are still visible, you need to use a non-chlorine bleach. Dilute the bleach in a bowl filled with 2 liters of warm water. Soak fabric in the solution for 1 hour and rinse with cold water.

Step 4: Brush the Fabric

Using a laundry brush and warm water, scrub stained area until the stains are removed. Rinse the fabric again and check for results.

Step 5: Use a Hairdryer

Finish off by using a hairdryer on low heat to help set the color of fabric and completely remove the stains.
