The first step to removing grass stains from wallpaper is to gently blot the affected area with a clean cloth. Then, use a scraper and gently scrape off any excess solids that are left on wallpaper.
Next, make a solution of equal parts white vinegar and water in a bowl. Dip your sponge into the solution and apply it to stained area. Let it sit for a few minutes so it can work its magic.
Once the grass stain has been softened by the white vinegar solution, you can wash the area with a mild dishwashing liquid. Use a clean damp cloth, not a sponge, and rub the area gently. Rinse the cloth and repeat until the stain is gone.
When the stain is gone, use a clean dry cloth to pat the area dry. Inspect the area to make sure all the grass stains are gone and your wallpaper is looking as good as new!
