1. Treat the Stain Immediately

When it comes to grass stains, it's absolutely essential to tackle them as soon as you possibly can. Make sure you don't put the garment off to side - take action right away and start the cleaning process.

2. Scrub Out Any Debris With a Soft Brush

Using a soft brush or an old toothbrush, scrub away any clumps or debris that may be stuck on the fabric. This is especially important if you can visibly see the grass particles on the fabric.

3. Pre-Treat the Stain with Laundry Detergent

Use a liquid laundry detergent or soap specifically designed to help pre-treat stains. Apply it directly to the stain on garment, and then rub it into the fabric in a circular motion.

4. Wash the Garment Separately

If the stained garment is made of light material, like wool or linen, then it's best to wash it separately on a delicate cycle. For more durable materials, you can wash the garment with your regular load of laundry on the normal setting.

5. Air Dry the Garment

Before putting your freshly cleaned garment in the dryer, allow it to air dry for about 20-30 minutes. This lets cleaning agents do their job and sets the stain for removal.
