Remove Grass Stains from Tencel for Good with this Simple Cleaning Method

What You Need
- 1 tbsp. detergent
- A sponge or cloth
- A bowl
- ¼ cup white vinegar
- ¼ cup baking soda
- A bucket of warm water
Instructions for Cleaning Grass Stains
- Start by always reading garment’s care label. Check to be sure the fabric you are cleaning is machine washable.
- If the garment is machine washable, add 1 tablespoon of detergent to a bucket of warm water.
- Fill a bowl with ¼ cup white vinegar and ¼ cup baking soda.
- Dip a sponge or cloth into the mixture and apply it to stained area on the tencel garment.
- Scrub lightly until stain begins to fade away.
- Once the stain has disappeared, rinse the tencel fabric with cold water.
- If the stain remains, repeat steps 3 through 6.
- Finally, launder in washer as directed.
TIPS
- Always read the care label prior to washing.
- Use a gentle scrubbing motion to avoid damaging the fabric.
- Be sure to rinse the fabric with cold water after scrubbing.
