Grass stains

Step 1: Treating the Stain Immediately

The first step to getting rid of that grass stain is treating it as soon as possible. If you let the stain linger too long, it may become difficult to remove and set into the fabric.

Step 2: Pre-treating the Stain

First, mix together a solution of spot treatment and water. Take a clean towel or cloth and gently apply this mixture to the grass stained area of your t-shirt. Allow it to soak in and dry then repeat until the stain has been mostly removed.

Step 3: Washing the Shirt

Once you've pre-treated the stain, put the t-shirt in the washing machine on a cold cycle with a mild detergent. Make sure to avoid using any bleaching agents, which can discolor and damage the fabric.

Step 4: Drying the Shirt

Hang your t-shirt up to dry, preferably outdoors in sun. The sun's UV rays can help fade the stain more effectively, so hang it in direct sunlight for a few hours.

Step 5: Inspecting the Results

Once the t-shirt is dry, inspect results. If the stain is still present, repeat steps 2-4. If all goes well, the grass stain should have been removed, leaving you with a good as new t-shirt!
