Before attempting to remove the stain from your sneakers, take a few seconds to pre-treat it. Start by making a scrubbing paste, using 1 tablespoon of baking soda, 1 tablespoon of dish soap, and 1 tablespoon of white vinegar. Mix together these ingredients to form a paste, and then use an old toothbrush or soft bristled brush to rub the paste directly into the stain. Let the mixture sit for 10 minutes before moving on to the next step.
Fill a sink or small bucket with warm water and laundry detergent, and then submerge the stained area of the sneakers in the soapy water. Let it soak for 5-10 minutes, and then take a soft cloth and gently rub the stained area. This will help to loosen stain and make it easier to clean.
Carefully rinse the sneaker with cold water and then dry the shoes with a towel. Once the sneakers have been dried, check to see if any remnants of the stain remain. If so, repeat Steps 1 and 2 until stain has been completely removed.
