Grass stains

To clean grass stains from your sleepwear the following supplies are needed: a bowl, cold water, laundry detergent, a cleaning cloth, white vinegar, and a towel. To begin, fill the bowl with cold water and add a few drops of laundry detergent. Stir the solution gently to combine the liquids and place stained sleep pants in solution. Let them soak for 20-30 minutes.

After removing the pants from solution, take the cleaning cloth and lightly dab at the stain. Do not rub the cloth vigorously against the fabric as it may damage its fibers. After dabbing at the stain, rinse off pants under cold water. If the stain is still present, create a mixture of equal parts vinegar and water and apply to the stain. Allow the vinegar solution to sit for 10-15 minutes and then rinse the garment with cold water. The stain should have lightened considerably.

Once the grass stain has been removed, make sure that all of the cleaning solutions are removed by rinsing the pants in cool or lukewarm water. Lay the sleepwear out on a towel and leave it to air dry. Do not use a washing machine or dryer to dry the pants as the heat may cause the stain to set.
