One of the easiest ways to get rid of grass stains is to use soap and water. Use a mild detergent (one that is free from bleach) and mix it with warm water in a bowl. Dip a cloth into solution and apply it on the affected area. Gently scrub the stain for about a minute and then rinse it off with clean water. Allow the shoes to air dry before wearing them again.
If soap and water doesn’t seem to do the trick, you can try using vinegar and baking soda. Mix equal parts vinegar and baking soda to create a paste-like solution. Apply the paste to the grass stains and let it sit for 10-15 minutes. Afterward, simply wipe off the paste with a damp cloth and the stain should be gone. Don’t forget to give your shoes a proper cleaning afterward.
If neither of the methods above works, you may want to consider taking your shoes to a professional cleaner. The professionals have access to special equipment and products that can effectively remove even the most stubborn of stains. It may cost a little extra money, but trust us, it’s worth it.
