What You'll Need

• White vinegar
• Laundry detergent or soap
• Toothbrush (preferably one that you don't mind throwing away afterwards)

Steps

1. Gently scrape off any excess dirt from the stain with a spoon or butter knife.
2. Soak the grass-stained area in a bowl filled with cold water for about 10 minutes.
3. Mix a solution of 1 part white vinegar and 4 parts cold water, and apply it to the stained area with a cloth.
4. Let the solution set for 5 minutes.
5. Using a damp cloth, gently dab the stained area to remove the grass stain.
6. If the stain is still there, use a toothbrush dipped in a solution of laundry detergent or soap and cold water to scrub the area in circular motions.
7. Rinse area thoroughly with cold water to get rid of any residual soap.
