Grass stains

Step 1: Scrape Excess Stain

Using a butter knife or blunt edge scraper, gently scrape off any excess grass stain before treating. This will help loosen the stain and make it easier for the cleaning product to do its job.

Step 2: Pre-Treat with Laundry Detergent

Sprinkle a light covering of laundry detergent over the stain and work it into the fabric with your fingers. Let the detergent sit for about 10 minutes to allow it to penetrate the fibers before moving onto next step.

Step 3: Soak in Cold Water

Fill a bucket or sink with cold water and add a few drops of dish soap. Immerse the stained fabric and swish it around in soapy water. Let it sit for at least 1 hour or overnight if possible.

Step 4: Rinse in Cold Water

After the fabric has finished soaking, rinse it off in cold water. You may need to repeat this process multiple times to ensure all the soap is removed.

Step 5: Pretreat with Stain Remover

Apply a pretreatment stain remover all over the stain and let it sit for 15 minutes. Follow the instructions on label of the product for best results.

Step 6: Wash in Cold Water

Place the fabric in the washing machine using cold water and a mild detergent. Use the gentle cycle, and if necessary, line dry or use a cool iron.

Conclusion

By following these steps, you can easily remove grass stains from seersucker clothing and restore them to their original appearance. With a little bit of effort, your clothes will look like new again!
