First, blot the stained area with a damp white cloth. This will help to remove any excess dirt or stain and prevent it from spreading. Make sure that you blot, not wipe, as wiping can cause the stain to spread to other areas of your scrub.
Next, apply an appropriate stain remover onto the stained area. For grass stains, a mild laundry detergent will work. Let the detergent soak into fabric for 10-15 minutes, then rinse off with a damp cloth. If the stain is still present, move onto the next step.
In a bowl, mix together one part white vinegar and two parts water. Dip a clean cloth into the vinegar solution and lightly dab the stained area. Allow the vinegar solution to sit for 15-20 minutes before rinsing off with a damp cloth.
Once the stain has been removed, wash your scrub in the washing machine with warm water and a mild detergent. Air dry or tumble dry low.
With a few steps, you can quickly and easily remove grass stains from your scrubs. All you need is a few basic supplies that you probably already have in your home. Just remember to pre-treat stain with a stain remover and vinegar solution before washing, and you'll be on your way to grass-stain-free scrubs!
