The first step in removing a grass stain from your robe is to soak the stained area. Start by filling a sink or bucket with lukewarm water and a few drops of dishwashing liquid. Submerge the stained area of the robe and allow it to soak for up to one hour.
Once the robe has been soaked, it is time to work on the stain itself. Using a soft brush or cloth, gently scrub the stained area of the robe. Work in circles, using back and forth strokes to agitate the fabric and help remove stain.
After the stain has been scrubbed, it is time to rinse the robe and the stained area. Run cold water over robe in order to remove the stain and the soap from the fabric. If stain isn’t completely gone, repeat this process until the stain is completely removed.
Once the stain is completely gone, it is time to launder the robe as you normally would. Be sure to check the stained area of the robe before you put it in the dryer, as high heat from dryer can set stains and make them more difficult to remove.
