Grass stains can be pesky things to get out of clothing, especially pullovers. They can leave behind an unsightly discoloration that just won't seem to go away. But take heart – there are some tried and tested techniques that can help you tackle even the most stubborn of grass stains.
Before tackling the stain, you'll want to pre-treat the area. Start by scrubbing the stain with a mild detergent, like liquid dish soap, and cold water. This should help loosen the stain and make it easier to remove.
Next, you'll want to dab and blot the stain using a clean cloth or paper towel. Apply pressure while doing this to help lift the stain out of the pullover fabric.
Wash the pullover in hot water, using a color-safe bleach if necessary. This will help to completely remove grass stain. Once finished, hang the pullover to dry.
If the stain is still visible after the first round of treatment, repeat the process until it's gone. It may take several rounds of pre-treating, dabbing, and washing, but eventually the stain should come out.
