Grass stains

Step 1: Preparing the Stain

The first step is to carefully inspect the stained area and wet it with cold water. This will help break down and remove any dried-on grass from the fabric. Next, sprinkle some baking soda or cornstarch onto the dampened spot. Rub it in gently, then leave it to sit for 10-15 minutes.

Step 2: Treating the Stain

Once the fabric has soaked, prepare a solution of 1 tablespoon of white distilled vinegar with 1 teaspoon of dishwashing liquid. Gently swab the stained area with this solution, taking care not to rub too hard against fabric. Leave the solution to work its magic for another 10-15 minutes.

Step 3: Washing Garment

After the stain has been treated, it's time to launder the garment. Place the item in a washing machine and run a cycle using cold water. If the stain is still visible after wash cycle is complete, repeat steps 1-2 before running a second cycle. When the wash cycle is finished, hang the garment to dry.
