Start by using a broom or brush to sweep away any dirt or other debris that’s on your pavers or concrete. This will make it easier to spot any areas with grass stains.
If you have access to a pressure washer, you can use it to clean away stubborn grass stains. Direct the jet at the stained area and keep the spray moving to avoid damaging the stone. Allow the pressure washer to do most of the work, though you may need to use a stiff brush in certain areas.
If you don't have access to a pressure washer, you can use a sponge or stiff brush and a mild laundry detergent or dish soap mixed with water. Gently scrub the affected area, and then rinse with fresh water. This can help to remove surface-level grass stains.
If excess grass stain remains after using the pressure washer or detergent, you may need to neutralize it with baking soda and white vinegar. Mix a solution of equal parts white vinegar and water, and spray it onto area. Then sprinkle baking soda into solution and scrub lightly with a stiff bristled brush. Let the solution sit for five minutes, and then rinse with fresh water.
Grass stains can be difficult to remove from outdoor pavers and concrete, but with the right supplies and techniques they can be quickly and easily cleaned away. Try steps outlined above to get rid of pesky grass stains on your pavers and concrete.
