Grass stains

When it comes to grass stains on your Oxfords, the key is to act quickly. The faster you work to remove the stain, better. Here are three easy steps to removing grass stains from your Oxfords:

Step 1: Pretreat the Stain with a Mild Detergent

Choose a mild detergent such as Woolite or a baby laundry detergent and mix it with warm water. Dip a soft cloth into the solution and work it into the stain. Gently rub the area until the detergent has thoroughly saturated the grass stain.

Step 2: Use White Vinegar and Water

Mix one part white vinegar with two parts warm water. Soak a clean cloth in the solution and dab it onto the stained area. Rub spot gently until stain begins to fade. If the stain persists, make another mixture but this time with equal parts white vinegar and warm water.

Step 3: Launder with Oxygen Bleach

Once you've treated stain with detergent and vinegar, it's time to give it the final treatment. Treat the stain with an oxygen-based bleach (such as OxiClean). Follow the directions on the label for best results. When you're finished, launder your Oxfords as usual and let them air dry.

With a bit of care, your Oxfords can look as good as new! Just remember to act quickly when treating grass stains and to be gentle with your shoes.
