Grass stains

What You Will Need

  • Laundry detergent
  • Stain remover/bleach
  • Old toothbrush
  • White cloth

Step 1: Pre-Treatment

Start by pre-treating the stained area with laundry detergent. Use an old toothbrush to work the detergent in. This will help break down the stain and make it easier to remove.

Step 2: Soak & Wash

Allow laundry detergent to sit on the stain for at least 15 minutes. After that, soak the one-piece swimsuit in warm water and add a scoop of laundry detergent. Let it soak for 30 minutes before washing it on a gentle cycle in the washing machine. Be sure to use cold water when rinsing.

Step 3: Treat & Wash Again

If the grass stain remains, you may need to treat it with a stain remover or bleach. Apply a small amount of stain remover directly onto the stain and let it sit for 5 minutes. Then, dab the stained area with a damp white cloth. After that, put the one-piece swimsuit back in the washing machine and wash on a gentle cycle. Once again, be sure to rinse with cold water.

Step 4: Air Dry

Finally, lay the one-piece Swimsuit flat to air dry. Do not put it in dryer as it could potentially set the stain and make it impossible to remove!

Conclusion

It may take a few tries to remove stubborn grass stains from your one-piece swimsuit, but by following these steps and using the right products, you should be able to easily remove them and keep your swimsuit looking fresh and new!
