Soak the Stain

The first step to getting rid of a grass stain on your New Balance is to soak it. Fill a bowl or sink with warm, soapy water and submerge affected area of the shoe. Let it sit for at least 15 minutes. This will help loosen the stain.

Scrub the Stain

Once you have let shoe soak, it’s time to scrub the stain. Use a soft brush or cloth and a bit of detergent to work stain out. Work in small circles until the stain has been removed. Rinse off the soap with cold water and let the shoe dry completely before wearing.

Treat The Stain

If stain persists, you can try treating it with a commercial spot remover. Be sure to test spot remover on an inconspicuous part of the shoe before applying it to stain. Follow instructions on spot remover and rinse the area with cold water once the stain has lifted. Allow shoe to air dry completely before wearing.

Prevent Future Stains

To prevent future grass stains, make sure to spray your New Balance with a waterproofing spray after every few wears. This will help keep the fabric of your shoes protected and make it easier to clean dirt and stains.
