Grass stains

Whether you were out camping in the great outdoors or playing a game of soccer, grass stains can be tough to remove. With right fabric and cleaning agents, though, you should be able to get your mask looking good as new. Here’s what you can do:

  • Start by pre-treating stain with laundry detergent before throwing it in the washing machine. Apply the detergent directly to the stain and let it sit for 10 minutes.
  • Next, put the mask in the washing machine with a regular cycle. Use cold water and set the machine to its gentlest setting.
  • If the stain persists, try using a stain remover, like OxiClean or Biz. Pre-soak the mask in cold water before adding a few tablespoons of cleaner. Let the mask soak in mixture for 30 minutes.

After the cleaning process, it is important to air dry your mask. Avoid putting it in the clothes dryer as the heat may cause the fabric to shrink or set the stain further. Make sure mask is completely dry before storing it away.

With these tips and tricks, you should be able to easily remove grass stains from your mask. Keep in mind that some fabrics may require extra attention. If multiple methods have failed, consider taking the mask to a professional dry cleaner.
