Marcella is a tough fabric often used in dress shirts, blazers and suits. But it's not immune to grass stains. Over time, a patch of grass stain on your Marcella clothing can become quite unsightly. Fortunately, there are several simple steps you can take to get rid of the unsightly grass stains.

Begin by dampening the stained area with lukewarm water and then apply a small amount of liquid detergent (or a stain remover) directly onto the stain. Gently rub the detergent into the fabric using a soft brush or cloth, being careful not to spread the stain. Let the area sit for about 10 minutes before proceeding to step two.
Once the pre-treating solution has had time to work, rinse area with cold water until the detergent is completely gone. For heavily soiled areas, you may choose to soak the garment in cold water before rinsing.
Once the area is rinsed, apply a mixture of one part white vinegar to two parts cold water directly onto the stain. Allow the vinegar to sit on the fabric for 5 minutes before proceeding to the next step. The acidity of the vinegar helps break down and dissolve the grass stains.
Once the vinegar solution has been applied, simply launder the garment as usual in cold or lukewarm water. Make sure to check the garment after laundering for any remaining stains, and repeat the steps above if necessary.
