Grass stains

To efficiently remove the grass stains on your Keds, you'll need following supplies: laundry detergent, warm water, and an old toothbrush. If the stain has been set in for a long time, you may also want to add a tablespoon of baking soda to the mix.

  1. Start by pre-treating stain. Wet the area with warm water and then rub a dime-sized amount of laundry detergent into the fabric with a toothbrush.
  2. Once the area is soapy, let it sit for a few minutes before scrubbing again with toothbrush. If there are still traces of the stain remaining, you can try adding a little baking soda to the mix.
  3. Finally, rinse off the detergent and repeat until the stain is gone. Once you're done, wash the entire shoe in the washing machine.

And that's it! With this simple three-step process, you'll have your Keds looking brand new in no time.
