Grass stains

Getting those pesky grass stains out of clothing can be a real challenge. And when it comes to delicate fabrics such as Georgette, it becomes even more of a headache.

But don’t worry - there are several effective methods you can use to remove grass stains from your precious garments.

Step 1: Blot the Stain with Detergent

First, you'll need to get a clean cloth and some liquid detergent. Start by blotting the stained area with the detergent-soaked cloth. Make sure to gently blot stain instead of rubbing it, as otherwise you may spread it further.

Step 2: Soak in Lukewarm Water

Once you're done with blotting, let garment soak in lukewarm water for about 30 minutes. This will allow the water to dissolve the stain and make it easier to remove.

Step 3: Further Treatment with an Oxygen-Based Bleach

Once you've removed the garment from the water, use an oxygen-based bleach and treat the stain further. One of the most popular products in this category is Oxiclean. Make sure to follow the instructions on the package carefully to avoid damaging fabric.

Step 4: Rinse with Cold Water and Air-Dry

After you've allowed the Oxygen-based bleach to work its magic, rinse the garment with cold water. Use a mild detergent if needed, but make sure not to use anything too harsh. Finally, just hang the garment up to air-dry.

And there you have it - your grass stain has been successfully eliminated from your Georgette garment!
