As frustrating as it can be to deal with grass stains on your favorite clothes, there’s no need to despair when grass stains land on Forever 21 clothing. There are some simple solutions that can help you get rid of the unsightly stains and restore your clothing to its former glory.
The first step in removing grass stains is to pre-treat the stain using a mix of liquid detergent, white vinegar, and warm water. Mix 1 tablespoon of detergent with ½ teaspoon of white vinegar and 1 cup of warm water. Soak the stained area of the clothing for several minutes then dab it with a clean cloth. This will help to loosen stain and make it easier to remove.
If the grass stain does not come out with the pre-treat, you can try hand washing the stained area with a solution of 2 tablespoons of liquid dishwashing soap, 2 tablespoons of white vinegar, and one quart of warm water. Swish the stained areas around in the mixture and let it sit for 10 minutes. Rinse the clothing in cold water and repeat if necessary.
If you don’t have time to hand wash or if the stain still won’t come out, you can try machine washing the stained clothing. Start by pre-treating the stain again with the same method mentioned above. Then, put the clothing in a gentle cycle with the coldest water setting available. Add a laundry detergent that contains enzymes and a ½ cup of white vinegar to the cycle. When the wash is finished, check the stained area and repeat if necessary.
