One of the easiest and most reliable methods to remove grass stains from earplugs is to use laundry detergent. Simply mix a small amount of detergent with warm water and soak your earplugs in the solution for about twenty minutes. Once the stain has been removed, rinse earplugs thoroughly and air-dry before using again.

If you don’t have laundry detergent, white vinegar can work just as effectively. To use, simply soak your earplugs in a mixture of one part vinegar and four parts warm water for about thirty minutes, then rinse and air-dry before using again.

If neither of these methods seem to be getting the job done, you can also try using baking soda. Mix one teaspoon of baking soda with one cup of warm water and stir until the baking soda is completely dissolved. Submerge your earplugs in the solution and leave them to soak for about thirty minutes before rinsing and air-drying them.

When all is said and done, it’s important to remember that no matter which method you choose, all of the residue must be completely rinsed away in order for the earplugs to be safe for use. Taking a few extra minutes to make sure the earplugs are completely clean will help ensure that they last longer and keep your ears safe.
