Pre-Treating the Stain

The first step for removing grass stains from your clogs is pre-treating the stain. Begin by rubbing a paste made of liquid laundry detergent and baking soda onto the stained area. Then, let this sit on the stain for 10-15 minutes before rubbing it off with a damp cloth. This should help lift some of the stain, making it easier to remove the rest.

Cleaning with a Brush

Once you’ve pre-treated the stain, the next step is to scrub it with a soft-bristled brush. You can use either a toothbrush or an old nail brush for this. Dip the brush in soapy water, then gently scrub the stained area in a circular motion. This should help loosen the grass stain, making it easier to remove.

Using a Cleaning Solution

For tougher grass stains, you can try using a cleaning solution. Make a mixture of equal parts vinegar and warm water and apply it to the stained area. Leave the solution on for 5-10 minutes, then scrub it off with a damp cloth. The vinegar should help dissolve the stain, making it easier to remove.

Rinsing and Drying

Once you’ve used one of the above methods to remove the grass stain, you’ll need to rinse away any soap residue and allow the clogs to dry completely. To do this, rinse the clog with cold water and then leave it in a well-ventilated area until it’s dry.
