Before tackling the grass stain, it is important to gently pre-treat the fabric with a mild laundry detergent and water. Take a soft cloth or sponge and apply the solution to the affected areas. Gently massage the solution into fabric and let it sit for about five minutes. This will help loosen the stain and make it easier to remove.
After the pre-treatment has had time to work, it's time to tackle stain. You could try using a solvent such as rubbing alcohol, but this could damage the delicate fabric. Instead, opt for a mild enzyme cleaner designed for use on fabrics. Simply apply a little bit of the cleaner on a clean cloth and gently dab it onto the stain. Repeat this process until stain is gone.
Once the grass stain is removed, you should rinse the spot with cold water to remove any residual cleaner. Then, lay your Chantilly lace flat to dry on a clean, dry towel. You should never wring out the fabric or put it in the dryer, as this could cause it to shrink or stretch. Once the fabric is completely dry, use a light steam iron on the lowest setting to restore its shape.
